Job Description

• Assist ATPs: Support the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) during evaluations, in-services, and demos across wide range of settings such as hospitals, clinics, and patient homes.
• Equipment Assembly & Delivery: Assemble and deliver custom wheelchairs promptly and accurately, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for the patient.
• Patient Interaction & Support: Demonstrate excellent bedside manner, adapting to each patient’s needs while maintaining professional communication with caregivers, clinical partners, and team members at all times.
• Workspace & Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain an organized working environment in our shop and ensure delivery vehicles are well maintained.
• Order & Inventory Management: Obtain quotes for service parts and ordering in conjunction with purchasing department.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, service, and patient interactions.

 

Requirements

• Must have professional experience providing direct care and effectively communicating with patients.
• Must have ability and experience assembling and repairing complex equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must be able to drive for extended periods and handle loading and unloading equipment from the vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
